Dyfed Alsop has been appointed as the first chief executive of the WRA until August 2019. A fluent Welsh speaker from north Wales, Dyfed studied at the University of Wales in Swansea. His previous roles include economic advisor at HM Customs and Excise and policy adviser at HM Treasury. Dyfed has also held positions at HMRC in the strategy unit and knowledge, analysis and intelligence team.
