Professor Rita de la Feria is the chair in tax law at the School of Law at Leeds University, international research fellow at the Oxford University Centre for Business Taxation, and visiting professor at the University of Lisbon. Her research – which focuses primarily on tax law and policy (and particularly on the intersection between tax law and EU law, and between tax law and public economics) – is regularly cited by courts across Europe and has supported various policy documents emerging from the EU institutions, international institutions and national governments around the world.
