  • UK/Switzerland Double Taxation Convention - 2017 Protocol: on 30 November 2017, the governments of the UK and Switzerland signed a protocol updating their 1977 double taxation convention in line with the requirements of the BEPS project. Although the UK can update its treaties under the ‘Multilateral convention to implement tax treaty related measures to prevent BEPS’ (multilateral instrument or MLI), the MLI has not been used in this case. The new Protocol has not yet entered into force.
  • UK/Uzbekistan Double Taxation Convention - 2018 Protocol: on 24 January 2018, the governments of the UK and Uzbekistan signed a protocol amending their 1993 double taxation convention. The new Protocol has not yet entered into force.
