TaxAid's latest conference entitled 'Tax Planning: Risks and Opportunities' was held at the Royal Institute of British Architects in Central London on 21 November. TaxAid is a charity very worthy of support. Its aim is to provide taxation advice to lower-income taxpayers who have tax (including tax credit) problems but who cannot afford to pay for the necessary advice: a lower-income taxpayer is defined as having income of up to £300 per week.
