Details of a new Pensions Industry Stakeholder Forum, set up to help HMRC better manage its relationship with stakeholders and representative bodies, are set out in issue 42 of HMRC’s Pension Schemes Newsletter.
The newsletter also includes items on:
Code of Practice 10 – the extended deadline for COP10 enquiries on pensions tax legislation has expired, and the normal deadline now applies;
restriction of pensions tax relief – draft legislation;
employer-financed retirement benefits schemes (EFRBS) and the annual allowance; and
planned changes to HMRC guidance, including the Registered Pension Schemes Manual.
