The Pensions Dashboards Regulations, SI 2022/1220, introduce the necessary requirements to bring pensions dashboard services into operation. Organisations which provide pensions dashboard services will need to comply with the requirements in order to be treated as qualifying providers. The regulations come into force on 12 December 2022.
Pensions dashboard services are intended to enable individuals (or other authorised persons) to request and view information relating to their pension entitlements electronically. Dashboard services will eventually be made available to the public; the secretary of state is required to give at least six months’ notice before launch.
