What are you working on at the moment?

A number of business restructurings primarily for large multinationals looking at moving their front/head office functions treasury or IP into the UK. I am also involved in a number of reviews that have been prompted by the recent draft legislation related to mixed partnerships.

Who in tax do you most admire?

I admire quite a few tax practitioners at all levels and often for different skills or attributes. I chose to pursue a career in tax in large part because I enjoyed working for Geoff Kay and still hold him in very high esteem for his deep knowledge of the subject and his ability to rationalise difficult issues swiftly and for his ability to recall arcane but relevant cases.
