Belgium and India ratify MLI, and Gibraltar joins BEPS inclusive framework.
On 25 June, India deposited its instrument of ratification for the ‘Multilateral convention to implement tax treaty related measures to prevent BEPS’ (MLI) with the OECD. The MLI will enter into force for India on 1 October 2019.
On 26 June, Belgium deposited its instrument of ratification for the MLI, which will enter into force for Belgium on 1 October 2019.
Gibraltar has joined the inclusive framework on BEPS, bringing to 130 the number of countries and jurisdictions participating on an equal footing in the project.
