Michael Lyttle of Stamp Taxes Policy and Frances Khan of the Birmingham Stamp Office kindly accepted an invitation to give a presentation to the STPG's second Conference held on 29 October 2007. This presentation was in two parts. In the first part Michael and Frances explained the respective functions of the Stamp Taxes Policy and Birmingham Stamp Office teams and the administrative changes which are being implemented within HMRC's Stamp Offices.
