The National Minimum Wage (Amendment) Regulations, SI 2017/465, increase the principal hourly rate of the national minimum wage from £6.95 to £7.05 from 1 April 2017. The hourly rate for workers aged 18-21 increases to £5.60; for those under 18 it increases to £4.05; and the apprentice rate increases to £3.50. The accommodation offset increases to £6.40 per day.
