HMRC’s Managing pension schemes service newsletter for April 2022 confirms that scheme administrators can now migrate pension schemes registered on the pension schemes online service to the managing pension schemes service (MPSS). The newsletter highlights various processes that are either now available, or will need to be done using MPSS. For example, where new administrators need to be added for a scheme, or new practitioners need to be authorised, the changes should be effected using both the old and new services. Administrators submitting new accounting for tax returns for any quarter starting on 1 April 2020 onwards will need to migrate the scheme and submit the return on MPSS. The newsletter notes that bulk reporting will eventually become available
