The OECD has provided an update on progress on the BEPS project in the latest of its regular webcasts. Final regulations under section 385 have been released in the US taking account of many comments made during consultation. The 2017 Budget has taken place in Ireland and draft guidance on the operation of Northern Ireland’s corporation tax regime has also been published. The draft 2017 Finance Bill has been published in France as well as an important court decision on the 3% dividend tax. The 2017 Budget has taken place in Norway and the EC has opened a state aid investigation into Luxembourg tax rulings.
