There are many reasons why it is always a considerable pleasure to attend the National Tax Conferences run by the Training and Professionalism team at Customs. In the first place there is the venue itself the truly excellent British Library conveniently located in the Euston Road. The completion of the British Library was delayed for some years but the result is well worth the wait. It is one of the finest buildings of its type in the world and because its completion is so recent the auditorium in which the conference is held is modern practical and extremely user-friendly.
