The financial secretary to the Treasury, Mel Stride, has announced the government’s intention to publish draft clauses on 6 July 2018 for the next Finance Bill.
Explanatory notes, tax information and impact notes, responses to consultations and other supporting documents will accompany the draft legislation.
The Finance (No. 3) Bill of the current parliamentary session will be introduced following the Autumn Budget. When passed, this will become the Finance Act 2019.
