Draft double taxation agreements laid before Commons

The following draft Orders in Council have been laid before the House of Commons for approval:

  • The Double Taxation Relief and International Tax Enforcement (Albania) Order, SI 2013/Draft: This draft order will bring into effect the new double taxation agreement and Protocol signed by the governments of the UK and Albania in March 2013. The agreement will not enter into force until both countries have completed their Parliamentary procedures.
  • The Double Taxation Relief (Netherlands) Order 2013, SI 2013/Draft: This draft order will bring into effect the Protocol, signed by the governments of the UK and the Netherlands in June 2013, which amends their 2008 Double Taxation Convention. The Protocol will not enter into force until both countries have completed their Parliamentary procedures.
  • The Double Taxation Relief and International Tax Enforcement (Panama) Order 2013, SI 2013/Draft: This draft order will bring into effect the new double taxation convention signed by the governments of the UK and Panama in July 2013. The convention will not enter into force until both countries have completed their Parliamentary procedures.
  • The Double Taxation Relief and International Tax Enforcement (Norway) Order 2013, SI 2013/Draft: This draft order will bring into effect the new double taxation convention signed by the governments of the UK and Norway in March 2013. The agreement will not enter into force until both countries have completed their parliamentary procedures.
