HMRC has announced that customs intermediaries can apply
for £50 million of new funding under the customs grant scheme from 29 July
2020 to support businesses with
recruitment, training and supplying IT equipment to handle customs
declarations. It encourages customs intermediaries and traders who make their
own declarations to take advantage of the funding and to increase their
capacity to make customs
declarations ahead of 2021.
