Robin Williamson Technical Director of the Low Incomes Tax Reform Group reports on this year's Tax Faculty Residential Conference held on 24/25 June 2005 and asks 'How healthy are your clients' businesses?'
 
This year's Tax Faculty conference was again held in the comfortable and convenient if unromantic environment of the University of Hertfordshire in Hatfield. Whilst the theme of the conference was medical with nurses' and doctors' uniforms the daytime attire of the Tax Faculty staff the surroundings of the de Havilland campus were aeronautical with models of aircraft appropriately adorning the Mosquito suite where Friday night's gala dinner was held.
 
As the title of the conference suggests the topic was the health of small-to-medium-sized enterprises typically looked after by the general...
