It was appropriate that this conference should be held in the beautiful restored Buda Castle district a world heritage site.
The focus of the conference was on change on an international scale:
● changes in the law governing indirect taxes (not just VAT but also customs duty);
● changes in business models and practices;
● changes in interpretation of taxes; and
● changes which delegates might want to initiate.
