A new version of HMRC’s Basic PAYE Tools reflects Budget 2012 changes, and provides a number of improvements as well as ‘a few small fixes’.

HMRC has reminded employers who failed to meet the 19 May deadline for filing the 2011/12 employer annual return online that they will be charged a late filing penalty. ‘To limit any penalties you may incur, send your return now without delay,’ the department said.
