Asbestos, Good News?

For most property occupiers finding asbestos in their building starts alarm bells ringing especially if it is the more dangerous blue asbestos (crocidolite). The removal of the asbestos must be carried out by an authorised specialist and is often expensive. Usually the existence of asbestos is discovered during the refurbishment or alteration of a building. Until such an event many occupiers do not know of its existence. However the days of blissful ignorance are soon to be gone!
