The Welsh government has published the land transaction tax (LTT) rates and bands on its website. The Welsh Revenue Authority (WRA) has also made available its new LTT calculator, which taxpayers and agents can use to calculate the amount of LTT payable for Welsh land transactions completed on or after 1 April 2018. These rates and bands were first set out in The Land Transaction Tax (Tax Bands and Tax Rates) (Wales) Regulations, SI 2018/128, on 1 February.
