The Treasury has announced that Tax Administration and Maintenance Day will be on 30 November 2021. In a written statement to Parliament, Lucy Frazer, Financial Secretary to the Treasury, confirmed that a further set of plans for tax administration and maintenance will be included in a command paper, setting out ‘further steps the government is taking to further progress tax simplification, tackle non-compliance and ensure our tax system is fit for the modern world’.
