People and firms: Hogan Lovells, Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer and haysmacintyre

Michael Conlon QC will join Hogan Lovells in July as the firm’s new Head of Indirect Tax in London.  He will join the firm from Temple Tax Chambers, where he is a practising barrister.

Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer has appointed Madrid Tax Partner Silvia Paternain as head of the firm’s global tax practice.

Chartered accountants and tax advisers haysmacintyre announced that Mark Allwood and Nick Jordan, both corporate tax specialists, have been promoted to the partnership.
