PPF publishes Strategic Plan for 2006 — 2009
The Pension Protection Fund (PPF) has published its strategic plan for the next three years. The plan sets out the PPF's medium-term strategy in a 25-page document and states that the PPF's mission is to promote increased confidence in UK final salary schemes and to set reasonable expectations for scheme members.
The strategic plan identifies three 'long-term critical success factors'. These are:
● confidence and consensus building;
● risk management and early warning...
