Such allegations were dealt with internally before 2006. They are now subject to the Revenue and Customs (Complaints and Misconduct) Regulations, SI 2010/1813.
The guidance explains how HMRC and the IPCC should execute their powers and duties in relation to the handling of ‘complaints, conduct and death and serious injury matters’.
Comments are invited by 20 June.
