VAT: Simpler invoicing
European finance ministers reached a general agreement on a directive aimed at modernising VAT invoicing requirements. The proposals include measures to allow SMEs to account for VAT on a cash basis and help tax authorities tackle VAT fraud said the Council of the European Union.
