At long last, the government publishes its new financial products hallmark for the disclosure of tax avoidance scheme rules; corporates in particular will now need to pay close attention to the terms of any financial products that give a tax advantage. Draft regulations are published on bank surcharge information, and final regulations are laid for BEPS country by country reporting. The EU Commission consults on improving the resolution of disputes under double tax treaties. Regulations dealing with client notices for offshore tax avoidance are published for a very brief consultation.
