Responses to consultation on peer-to-peer loans as ISA qualifying investments

Following consultation, the government has decided to allow peer-to-peer loans to be held in ISAs from 6 April 2016 and intends to publish draft legislation for technical consultation later this year, with a view to legislating to allow peer-to-peer loans to be held in an ISA from 6 April 2016. This response document sets out the modifications made to the original proposals, full details of which will be contained in draft legislation to be published for consultation later this year. See
