By merging two departments and working closely with HM Treasury HMRC is now in a position to strengthen our relationship with businesses large and small. HMRC is putting businesses at the heart of its work with the establishment of two dedicated units: the Large Business Service responsible for the day-to-day tax affairs of the country's largest forms; and the Large Business and Employers Customer Unit which liaises on matters of policy and strategy.
