The House of Lords decided as a two-year experiment to look at the Finance Bill. As John Whiting tax partner PricewaterhouseCoopers reports this year is year three of their exercise!
It's good to know that at least one group of people (other than tax anoraks!) is keen to look at Finance Bills. After all the House of Lords has continued its two-year experimental examination into a third year. Could it be that the Lords' Committee's report is having an impact even though the House remains unable to amend a Finance Bill?
