Resuming on Thursday 24 May the Committee considered Clause 58 (securitisation companies). For the Conservatives Theresa Villiers (Chipping Barnet) commented:
 
'Proposed new subsection (7B) permits the Government to take a different approach to various types of securitisation companies.
