In the next fortnight the Low Incomes Tax Reform Group (LITRG) and PricewaterhouseCoopers will publish a Report about VAT reliefs on supplies of goods and services to disabled people. Titled 'Disability in VAT: a case for removing barriers' and funded by the Nuffield Foundation this report will consider questions such as these:
● Are the reliefs wide enough in their scope?
● Does their design support their policy objective?
● How do VAT reliefs in the UK compare with those in other EU jurisdictions?
