Business tax: Ash cloud disruption
Taxpayers worried about meeting tax bills as a result of disruption caused by the volcanic ash cloud were invited to contact HMRC's Business Payment Support Service. The support line on 0845 302 1435 is open from 8am to 8pm on weekdays and 8am to 4pm at weekends. 'The sooner you get in touch the sooner we'll be able to see how we can help. Don't wait until your payment is overdue ' HMRC said.
