On 22 September at the Nuffield Foundation the Low Incomes Tax Reform Group of the Chartered Institute of Taxation launched its latest report: Tax Appeals: a Low Income Perspective. This report focuses on one narrow but important aspect of the proposed reform of tribunals — tax appeals from the point of view of the low-income unrepresented taxpayer.
