In my report (The Tax Journal 8 March 2004 Issue 731) on the PwC 'Countdown to the Enlarged EU' conference held in Cyprus in January 2004 I revealed that a follow-up conference would be held in Prague in September.
The main aim of the Prague conference was to highlight and discuss practical problems that the new EU countries have had with the application of indirect tax following EU accession on 1 May 2004.
