Alan Buckett pays a personal tribute to Roger Craske and Michael Conlon QC also shares some of his memories of Roger
 
It was with considerable shock and great sadness that the VAT world learned of the sudden death from a heart attack of Roger Craske on 19 July. The shock was all the more difficult for all those VAT practitioners who had attended the VAT Practitioners' Group annual conference in June at which Roger gave a typically interesting and amusing after-dinner speech on his life in VAT. Roger was a person who enjoyed life to the full and was so full of life.
 
All those who had the privilege to know or work with Roger will have many different memories of him. This is my personal view...
